How to cope with stress

Are you suffering from stress due to problems in your life? Perhaps I can help in even a small manner. First of all, did you know that stress is just the wear and tear of your life? This is true. Events in our life can cause us stress or just everyday day to day living, holding a job, keeping a home, raising children, I could go on forever on the things that cause stress: the key is in learning how to cope with stress so that it doesn't wreck your life either mentally or physically or both.

Remember our ancestors survived stress, so we can also: it can be done. Sometimes we need a little help from others and need to accept the help provided.

Sometimes we can relieve stress by just having an enjoyable hobby such as crochet, listening to soft classical music and just relaxing in an easy chair, or even running or jogging, even screaming or crying. These cures for stress or help with stress can serve as safety valves. Did you know

that biological stress unless controlled can lead to disease, it has been proved in research studies.

Your attitude determines sometimes whether stress will develop and if you always have a negative attitude and don't learn to change the negative to a positive attitude you can develop serious problems. In other words, as the old saying goes, when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, you make the best of every situation, look at the positive side of your life, try to rule out the negative, try to relax and let stress pass you by. We can't eliminate all stress and really we don't want to as stress helps sometimes when we have a deadline in our office or even in our home. It propels us to work harder to do our best and get the job done.

There are so many ways to manage stress but to list a few not in any order of importance would be to say: understand your emotions, why you think as you do and try to change your thinking, get enough rest, nutrition and stay healthy,

also seek help in a spirtural manner. These three thoughts are some of the best. If you have a stressful job that you are unable to control your stress, think about changing to another employment if possible. Try to change yourself

and then if the stress is still there change what is causing the stress. You can: sure it takes time, but it can be accomplished.

Try to get more control of your life, don't let others control your life, sometimes you have a very unhappy marriage, work towards happiness before making a drastic decision on ending the marriage. If you can't then make a critical decision, think about yourself and your responsibilities and then change your life, it can be done.

I certainly hope this information will help, more than anything try to relax and destress yourself: you can, it takes a little time and a little effort, I did. You can.
